Leave The Banana. Take The Cannolis.

The list of banned items allowed inside the "hard" security zone surrounding the FleetCenter grows by the day. All beverages, water included, are off-limits, as are fruits. Well, at least apples and bananas, both of which Convention Daily reporters had confiscated this afternoon in separate incidents.
"DNC rules -- nothing that can be thrown," was a security guard's explanation. An editor's box of cannolis, however, made it through unscathed. Because really, who would waste a cannoli?
